On my way to work last week, I noticed there were a lot of police officers in the subway. Then I got to work and found out that President Bush was in town giving a speech about the economy. He gave his speech at the Hilton-two blocks from where I work! My co-workers and I watched out the window for about an hour, waiting for the procession to pass by our building. Finally they came, and everyone in the streets started cheering! The President was headed for the Waldorf Astoria Hotel (I guess his family owns a spot there). Here are some of the pictures we took. If you look closely at the last picture, you can see the president in the window-he was waving to the crowd. It was very exciting!
