Last week, Kevin had to travel to California for work, so Jacob and I decided to tag along:) We started out in San Francisco, and while Kevin was working Jacob and I headed down to Fisherman's Wharf. I don't have many pictures because I was by myself, but I got one of us riding the trolley--it was a lot of fun! I think he liked it too. While at Fisherman's Wharf, I took him to a little beach area to watch the waves, and he was terrified of them. And then I took off his socks to let him feel the sand, and he hated that too. I think it was due to how cold it was, but I was bummed he didn't love the beach like I do:(
When Kevin was done working, we took a train and headed to Sacramento to visit Kevin's family. Jacob had so much fun with his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins (Kevin has a big family). Here is Jacob at my niece's soccer game, sitting on aunt Colleen's lap:
He really enjoyed watching the game. And when they scored a goal and everyone started cheering, so did he!
They also had a fun playground at the park. Here is Kevin pushing his nieces on a giant tire swing. I think he made them sick.
Check out this vintage high chair! Kevin used to eat in it when he was a baby:) This picture shows Jacob's new skill--he can put food in his mouth!
Grandma just loved Jacob's happy grin--he makes this face a lot.
"Tell us a story grandpa Jacob!"
This is his new favorite game--he likes to let go of our hands and fall into us:)
Such a good boy, waiting for his breakfast:)
This is what he does when I say "smile"--he tries to get the camera.
Jacob loved all the attention from his cousins.
I think he had a little crush on this cousin--he kept following her and trying to climb on her:)
On our flight back home, we were lucky to have an extra seat. We thought it would be funny to put Jacob in a seat belt--it didn't last too long.
